Coffee table designed for record collectors.

 

Originaly made as a school project, the design challenge was to solve spatial problem in a small apartment. My solution is to store records and record player under the table, yet to a place where they are easily accessible.

​

Opening the table does not add any extra surface area nor makes the user to clear the table. The player can be placed on a sturdy surface and the playing record can be placed on the holder integrated in the hinge.
